Chaos Crew 2 Slot Review

A back alley after midnight, strip lights buzzing, every wall carrying three layers of spray paint. That is the world Hacksaw Gaming built for Chaos Crew 2 slot, listed on this page under its Roman numeral as Chaos Crew II, and the sequel keeps the graffiti look of the 2022 original while rebuilding almost everything behind it. The grid grew to five rows, paylines went from 15 to 19, and the ceiling doubled to 20,000x. Two characters run the show: Cranky Cat, a wild with a multiplier stamped on it, and Sketchy Skull, a bonus symbol worth up to 100x by itself.

Theme & Design

The art direction is why this family has a following. Every symbol looks drawn with a fat marker on a wall that was never meant to be looked at twice: an eyeballed pyramid, a fistful of dice, a mouth full of crooked teeth, a magic 8 ball, a pair of blue wings. Colours are flat and loud, outlines are thick, and nothing on the screen is trying to be pretty.

Audio does the work on pacing. Base spins sit under a low grinding loop that barely moves for minutes at a time. The moment a bonus scatter lands the track jumps into something closer to a club set and stays there until the round is settled. Hacksaw has used that contrast since the first game and it still beats the standard bonus fanfare.

The sequel is louder than the original in every direction. More rows, more symbols crammed into the frame, more neon burning behind them. Whether that reads as an upgrade or as clutter depends entirely on how you felt about the first one.

RTP, Volatility & Max Win

RTP on this page is 96.27%, ordinary for a Hacksaw release and a shade under what the first Chaos Crew returns. Volatility carries the studio's maximum rating of 5 out of 5. Roughly 27% of spins pay something, a figure that sounds generous until you check the size: five of a kind on a standard symbol is worth between 2x and 10x the bet.

The 20,000x number is not something the base game can reach on its own. Getting there means stacking Sketchy Skull values against Cranky Cat multipliers inside the bonus until the running total above the reels adds up, and the published odds put that outcome at about one spin in 1.7 million. For scale, Hacksaw's own Wanted Dead or a Wild caps at 12,500x on a comparable volatility rating.

Symbols & Multipliers

Standard pays are kept small on purpose. The whole paying set, pyramid, diamonds, dice, mouth, 8 ball, heart and wings, returns 2x to 10x for five of a kind, so a base-game line win rarely covers more than a few spins.

Cranky Cat changes the arithmetic. The wild substitutes for any paying symbol and carries a multiplier of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x or 20x, and when two of them land on the same winning line those multipliers multiply each other. Two 20x cats on one payline turn a 5x win into 2,000x. That interaction, not the paytable, is what the base game is really selling.

Chaos Crew 2 Bonus Features

Epic Drop

A random base-game event with no warning and no scatters involved. The reel set switches over to the bonus grid, at least five multiplier symbols drop into play, their values pay out, and normal spins resume. Short, and occasionally worth a lot more than the round it interrupted.

Bonus Game

Three bonus scatters open the standard round with three spins on the clock. The reels strip back to blanks and multiplier symbols only. Every time a multiplier lands, the counter resets to three, so the round keeps extending itself for as long as the reels cooperate. When three spins pass empty, the total collected above the reels is multiplied by the stake and paid.

Super Bonus

Four scatters instead of three, and the first spin is guaranteed to drop seven multiplier symbols or more before the same three-spin reset rule takes over. Multipliers also arrive in sticky, epic and epic sticky versions here, and stacking those is where the four-figure and five-figure totals come from.

Feature Buys

Six purchase options, and the pricing rewards a careful reader. BonusHunt FeatureSpins costs 5x the bet and multiplies trigger odds by ten without guaranteeing anything. Direct entry to the Bonus is 100x, the Super Bonus 250x, and the Epic Drop round 200x.

The two Best of options hide the more interesting math. Best of Bonus costs 200x and runs the standard round three separate times, paying only the strongest of the three. Three attempts therefore cost twice what one attempt costs, with the catch that two of them are discarded no matter how they land. Best of Super Bonus repeats the arrangement at 500x against a 250x single entry.

Chaos Crew Games Compared

Three games in this family run on our platform, plus a scratch card using the same artwork. Line up the two slots either side of this one and the studio's direction is easy to read: each release raises the ceiling and trims a little off the return.

Chaos Crew 35x5 slot, 19 paylines96.18%30,000x

The scratch card is a different product with different math behind it, worth knowing before you click it expecting the slot.

Betting and Stakes

Nineteen paylines are fixed, which removes the only setting most slots ask you to think about. Stake selection and the optional feature buy are the whole control panel. Wins pay left to right from the first reel, and the bonus total is always calculated against the stake in play when the round triggered, not the stake you switch to afterwards.

Both demo and real play sit on the same page at BetFury, so switching between them takes a single click and no download. Given how much of this game's value hides inside the bonus round, a few demo sessions are the cheapest way to find out whether the three-spin reset rhythm suits you.

Should You Play It

Chaos Crew 2 suits one kind of player: the sort who accepts that 27% of spins paying under 10x is the toll for a 20,000x ceiling, and who treats the bonus as the only part of the game that counts. The art and the audio are strong enough to make the waiting bearable, which is more than most extreme-volatility slots manage. Anyone after a steadier session should look at something else in the lobby, because nothing here is designed to protect a balance. If the ceiling appeals but the cramped 5x5 grid does not, the Duck Hunters demo in the BetFury lobby runs a 30,000x cap across six reels and tests the same appetite for less.
